While a majority of English speakers use this method, there are some that use what is called the Search and Peck method, which consists of visually looking for a key on the keyboard and pressing it, and then continuing to do this for every letter. In most cases, left handed people would use their left index finger to type, meaning they wouldn’t use their right hand at all.
